My name is Marcus “Marman” Woodbridge. I originally used to frequent some local downs and hills with a group of friends to partake in downhill mountain boarding. Looking for something to combine the board with I started off powerkiting in 2003 with a small 3m fixed bridle foil, and was instantly hooked!
From that day forward I would anxiously stare at trees, flags and weather station websites waiting for any signs of wind. I quickly combined kiting with the board and progressed into the world of kite landboarding. Before I knew it I was spending every possible evening and weekend tearing up and down local playing fields and hills. One kite became two, two become three and before I knew it I had quite a quiver to lug arround!
After progressing from fixed bridle foils to depower foils, I then moved across onto the water and frequently found myself kitesurfing more and more. As well as riding myself I have a real passion for digital video and photography with anything kite related. I soon started getting a following for videos I would try to regulary post and soon found myself getting involed with certain brands and manufacturers to help with media and promotions of new equipment.

I am now based around the Swindon Area in Wiltshire, working full time for www.ATBShop.co.uk As a shop we are frequently traveling up and down and along the Welsh, Devonshire and South Coast testing kit, riding new spots and meeting new people so if you are interested in getting some advice or hooking up for a session let me know!
Besides kiting I enjoy longboarding and paddleboarding and hope to further progress in both these areas.
